West Bottoms in Kansas City is one of my favorite places in Kansas City to take images of people. For years this was a go-to place for Kansas City Photographers, but as of late, most of the abandoned buildings have been converted to flea markets, so you'll have difficulty finding a place with no people.
But if what you are looking for is Urban decay and coolness then this is still one of my favorite top places In Kansas City.
